Variant 1
Regulated industries
Banks, insurers, retail. Architecture and technology responsibility alongside day-to-day operations, supplier management, rescuing stalled projects.
Offers for businesses only (§ 14 BGB).
Offering
Technical leadership for one to two days a week. We take responsibility for the strategic direction of IT, the AI strategy, independence from US cloud providers and delivery, without you having to fill a full-time position.
A fractional CTO fills the CTO role part-time. They lead and implement, they do not only advise. It fits when the need for technical leadership is permanent but does not justify a full-time hire. It does not fit when a capable technical lead is already in place and only developers are missing.
Variant 1
Banks, insurers, retail. Architecture and technology responsibility alongside day-to-day operations, supplier management, rescuing stalled projects.
Variant 2
No CTO in place. Tech stack decisions, building the team, make-or-buy including AI tools, CI/CD and testing, preparation for due diligence.
Derive the IT strategy from business goals: target picture, roadmap, priorities and budget. We help steer the implementation.
Where AI helps and where it does not. Prioritise use cases, make-or-buy, rules for use including data protection, build skills in the team.
Map dependencies, assess risks, examine alternatives and exit paths. Plan the decoupling in stages and see it through.
To be clear about scope: we advise and steer. Implementation is carried out by third parties, we do not take over operations, and we do not provide legal advice.
On request, we start with a Tech Check.
Technical roadmap and architecture decisions.
Leading and building the team, managing suppliers.
Testing, CI/CD, documentation, reducing technical debt.
Risks, costs and deadlines in plain language.

Prices on request, all details subject to change. The offer states minimum term and notice period. We agree the scope in a conversation.
We advise supervisory and advisory boards separately from the Fractional CTO: the board gets an independent view on technology and IT risks, with a focus on banks and insurers. We are not a member and take on no duties of a board member.
