This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit drkv.com. It applies to this website, not to services we provide under a contract; those are governed by the respective contractual agreements.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf.

When a page is requested, technically necessary data is processed:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• requested address and amount of data transferred
• browser, operating system and the previously visited page, where your browser transmits them

The purpose is to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website.

Data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union, in particular the USA. According to its own statements, Cloudflare relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers and is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

3. Cookies, analytics and embedded content

We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising and do not use any audience measurement tools. Fonts and scripts are served from this website itself; no third-party content is loaded.

Our hosting provider may set technically necessary cookies to protect against attacks.

4. Quick assessment

The quick assessment on the “Tech Check” page runs entirely in your browser. This website neither transmits your selection and entries to us nor stores them.

If you use the button to send a request by email, a message is prepared from your entries and handed to your own email program. We receive the information only once you send that email; section 5 then applies. If you ask for a customer account in it, we use your details to set it up.

5. Contact by email

If you send us an email, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, for example getjico.com. Data processing there is governed by the privacy policy of the respective website.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise your rights, an email to contact@drkv.com is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
